What should I do next weekend? (May 13th - 15th, 2011)
Answer:
Everyone should head to Billings for the annual EXPO hosted by the Photographic Institute of the Yellowstone.
All of the details are on their site.
I'll be in attendance Saturday, not only because I am leading a pair of the breakouts; but also because you can't miss a chance to listen to Tom Murphy speak about his 30 year career.
p.s. this year's EXPO will be held on the Rocky Mountain College Campus, I wonder how that happened ;)
p.s.s. before and after the EXPO folks should spend all the time they can in Yellowstone National Park (I know I will)

Keynote speaking at the PIY Expo
Just a repost that I am going to be judging, presenting, and keynoting the PIY expo this year.
ALL THE INFORMATION IS ONLINE
For those who do not know, PIY is the Photographic Institute of the Yellowstone... a great resource for photographers in Montana and Wyoming.
I will be judging the photo competition and then presenting photos and information about my December 2009 birding trip to New Mexico on Friday evening. On Saturday I will be presenting "Digital Workflow: From Shot to Print."
If you are in the area you should consider attending.
Phil Bell is the other presenter this year, he is a wealth of knowledge and his presentation, "The Art of Photography," will be excellent.
