I have had a large number of folks ask for my cookie recipes over the last few days, so I figured I should just post them here.
The core of the recipes came from a B&B owner who told me about using cake mix to make cookies, and then I went nuts from there. I do ask, the artist in me asks, that if you make and share them that you mention the photographer, who's work you love, that shared his recipe. Also if someone wants the recipe please send them my way; but I know that this recipe can't be copyrighted like my images, so... (Lord knows someone out there probably made these long before I)
German Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies:
- 1 box of German Chocolate Cake Mix
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon of Almond Extract
- 2 tablespoons of Dark Chocolate Sauce
- 1/2 cup of oil (I actually use apple sauce, and a splash of olive oil)
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
- 2/3 of a cup Shaved Swetened Cocunut
Hand mix then bake cookies for 12.5 min. at 325. Makes about 3 dozen.
I think it is a perfect Christmas cookie.
3C Vanilla Cookies:
- 1 box of French Vanilla Cake Mix
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup Oil (I actually use apple sauce, and a splash of olive oil)
- 2/3 cup White Chocolate Chips (1 cup if you love them)
- 2/3 cup Cashew Pieces
- 1 cup Crasins
Hand mix then bake cookies for 12.5 min. at 325. Makes about 3 dozen.
I think it is a perfect Thanksgiving cookie.
Enjoy, and I would love your thought on the recipes.
